Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez, better known by his stage name Juanes, is a Colombian musician renowned for his contributions to the Latin rock and pop genres. Born on August 9, 1972, in Medellín, Colombia, Juanes developed an early passion for music, influenced by traditional Latin American sounds and rock legends such as Led Zeppelin and Metallica. He began his musical career in the early 1990s as a member of the rock band Ekhymosis, which achieved significant success in Colombia.
